Governing Body S. R. Academy
S.R. College was created in 2008 by the vision and toll of a group of sincere and hard-working academicians. It is not just an institute, but an academic hub for aspiring students of various discipline existed in the college. The Governing body urge to set standards of excellence and perfection in the quest for a place in various fields like employment, research and also to success in national, international and state level competitive examinations. The teacher's dedication to provide quality education to students is an essential criteria to reach the destination. Better education and training as envisaged in the New Education Policy, 2020 is the Instrument of change, but the better educated man is also the objective.
The NEP implemented in Assam with effect from 2023 session will act as a platform to explore the talent of outshining and meritorious students and help them achieve excellence in their specific areas of interest. At the same time we are to commit ourselves to the construction of complete, just and lasting academic home under the roof with our propelling force. The NEP, 2020 gives much stress on training of teachers to cope up with the ideal objective of the new system. Because in the field of education teacher is the central actor to tackle the quality issue. We need pedagogical practices to be altered I hope the S.R. College will be able to manage all the required criteria's of the new policy.
